Dr Wong Wen Hao, MD, MRCOG, FACOG

Special Interest in Fertility

Dr Wong Wen Hao graduated as a medical doctor from Universiti Malaysia Sabah and subsequently specialised in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in the United Kingdom, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) and a Member of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia.

Dr Wong has a special interest in fertility and went on to pursue further training in this field. He completed his training in reproductive medicine at the Centre for Reproductive Education & Specialist Training (CREST), a premier institution under the National University Hospital (NUH) of Singapore, where he gained in-depth knowledge in diagnosing and managing a wide range of fertility issues. Further honing his expertise, Dr Wong pursued a prestigious Fellowship in IVF and Reproductive Medicine at Fertility Plus—one of the leading fertility centres in London, United Kingdom.

In recognition of his contribution to the field of reproductive medicine, he was granted memberships to the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE) and Malaysian Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (MSART).

Prior to joining Metro IVF, Dr Wong has served the Ministry of Health of Malaysia for about a decade, where he worked in various hospitals around the country. He was also a Council Member of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Malaysia (OGSM).

As a father of two lovely children, Dr Wong considers being a parent the happiest thing in his life. He strives to help couples with fertility issues in the journey to parenthood.
